# Quickstart

> Sign in, get oriented, and configure your workspace in Peak.

This section walks you through your first session in Peak — from signing in to running your first command, and configuring the workspace settings that make Peak feel like your own.

The full path takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes. You can complete it in order, or jump to the page that matches what you need.

## Before you begin

You will need:

* A whitelisted email address. See [Beta access](/docs/get-started/introduction/beta-access) if you have not requested access yet.
* A desktop browser. Peak is built for data density and is optimized for desktop screens.
